Tera trained at the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork, graduating in 1999. She specializes in a blend of Esalen, Relaxation and therapeutic pressure techniques and she holds additional certification in Cranial Sacral massage. Tera’s approach is to help her clients find increased body awareness, relaxation and healing.
Jessica has trained as a licensed practical nurse, is a graduate of Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork (MSMB), and has practiced massage since early 1998. She also studied at the Kurashova Institute of Illinois where she gained certification in Neuromuscular re-education. She incorporates various massage techniques and believes in tailoring her approach to each individual. Jessica has experience working with a wide variety of ailments such as headaches, migraines, fibromyalgia, sinus problems, whiplash, and all kinds of aches and pains.
Sarah earned her B.A. & M.A. from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and is a graduate of the Minneapolis School of Massage & Bodywork in 2006. She specializes in relaxation and area specific deep tissue. Sarah’s approach is to help people take a break from their busy lives, focus on themselves, and relax.
Mara completed her massage training at Northwestern Health Sciences University in early 2006. She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Mara uses basic western style Swedish techniques blended with trigger point therapy to address her clients’ relaxation and rehabilitative needs. She is also trained in Hot Stone massage for deeper effects. Her slow, layering approach allows her to release tissue from the superficial levels to the deeper levels while minimizing pain and tissue damage. Mara welcomes those with physical challenges and specializes in injury rehab and pain/headache management.
Mia completed her studies at Northwestern Health Science University’s School of Massage in 2005. Mia uses an assortment of massage techniques in order to shape each session around the therapeutic goals of her clients. Typically, Mia uses moderate pressure at a slow speed that allows her to distinguish between layers of tension in the body and to sense their release. She specializes in the rehabilitative care of soft tissue dysfunction, including repetitive stress injuries and chronic pain. She also enjoys opening to the energetic aspect of this work with a focus on support for the healing process through breath work and body centering.
Stephanie has 15 years experience. She is a graduate from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Colorado. Second to her daughters, massage therapy is her biggest passion. Her specialties include NeuroMuscular therapy, Myofascial Release, and Connective Tissue Massage. Stephanie’s practice helps clients manage pain with deep, specific therapies in conjunction with stretching exercises. She emphasizes the element of therapist and client teamwork.
Jolie is a graduate of Hamline University and has a B.A. in Spanish. She teaches Spanish pre-K through 7th grade. She received her certification in massage therapy from Center Point School and Clinic and has additional training in stone therapy, NeuroMuscular therapy, pregnancy massage, aroma therapy and yoga. Jolie specializes in integrating her massage with deep tissue and trigger point therapy techniques. Jolie has experience working with clients who have chronic pain, fibromyalgia, injuries and facia and/or muscular aches and pains.
Ellen earned her BFA from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa; she received her Massage Therapy Diploma from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Anamosa, Iowa. She is also a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. Ellen first began her massage therapy business in 1994 while living in Iowa, her clients received specialized treatments requested by chiropractors, osteopaths, and general practitioners. She has been an active member of The American Massage Therapy Association and has traveled nationwide to continue her education in their accredited workshops. Ellen has been an instructor of various massage therapy courses since 2004 and is currently instructing an Applied Anatomy class at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington. She incorporates an eclectic blend of Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy in her massage treatments to address chronic pain, joint dysfunction and soft tissue injuries. Ellen’s experience allows her to work with clients while they strive to attain health and well-being.
Linda has 17 years experience in therapeutic massage and bodywork. She is a graduate of Northern Lights School of Massage Therapy and is certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, AMTA certified in Sports Massage and an ACE certified Personal Trainer. She has additional training in Cranial Sacral, Connective Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Stretching and flexibility techniques, Acupressure and Stone Massage.
Karen has over 25 years experience as a massage therapist and is a graduate of Northern Lights School of Massage Therapy in Minneapolis. She specialized in deep tissue, sports therapy and pain relief. Karen is a state licensed massage therapist in Florida and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Karen likes to customize each session for her clients.
D. M’chelle is a Certified Massage Therapist, Fitness Trainer and Healing Arts Practitioner. She obtained her certifications in Massage Therapy, Personal Fitness Training, and Sound Healing through The National Holistic Institute, The National College of Exercise Professionals, and Tama-do Academy of Sound, Color, and Movement. She has designed and specializes in Vibrational Anatomy and Occupational Fitness therapy, Other modalities of therapy that she provides include Deep Tissue, Swedish, Zen Shiatsu, Trigger Point, Pregnancy massage, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, D. M’Chelle also leads workshops in Functional Fitness Training, meditative movement and Inner Healing workshops.
